The 2014 Winter Olympics officially 22 Winter
Olympics games are organized to take place from 6 to 23 Feb 2014, in Sochi, Russia
and some matches of this competition organized in the city of Krasnaya Polyana.
This competition consists of 15 winter
sport disciplines and 98 events will be organized. 2014 Winter Paralympics and Olympics
are being held by the Sochi Organizing Committee (SOC). Sochi was selected as the host city in the
winter Olympics, during the 119th IOC Period organized in Honduras City.
The Sochi Olympics will be the first Olympics in
the European Federation since the split of the USSR. 2014 Winter Olympics games
will be organized around two groups of new places, an Olympic Park was constructed
in the Imeretinsky Area on the coast of the Black Sea with Fisht Olympic Ground
and the gaming indoor places located in easy reach and snow activities will be
organized at Krasnaya Polyana. These games organizers focused modernizing the
telecommunications, power and transport infrastructures of the region.
While initially assigned at US$12 billion money
dollars, various factors caused the budget to flourish to over US$51 billion
money dollars, exceeding the approximated $44 billion money dollars cost of the
2008 Summer Olympics in China as the most expensive Olympics in history. The
lead up to the 2014 Winter Olympics were affected by several major conflicts,
including allegations of crime leading to the severe cost overruns, along with
concerns from people in politics and sportsmen over the effects of Russia's ban
on "propaganda of non-traditional sexual relations" on the Actions.
