Seamus Kelly who was born on 30 May 1991 is a rugby union player of America. He plays as outside center for the national team of the USA. He made his debut for the USA national team on 25 May 2013 when he was 21 years old where he came as a replacement against Canada during the Pacific Nations Cup in 2013. He started first time for the U S against Ireland on 8 June 2013. Kelly played two matches as a starter and two as a replacement in the 2013 Pacific Nations Cup.
Kelly belongs to Queens, New York where he joined Xavier High School. There he was also a notable running back in American football with the alias Famous Seamus. Many universities were keenly interested in hiring Kelly to play American football. He played college rugby at the University of California with the coach Jack Clark. Kelly earned two national championships during his stay at Cal. Cal won CRC championship under his captainship, winning tournament MVP honours.
