I Do Not Know Harry Kane But He Has Made An Impression: Nacer Chadli

Nacer Chadli has supported Hary Kane to be called up for senior England squad despite confessing he did not know the striker before joining Tottenham. It was his seventh goal in his last seven games and eighth of the season when he scored a winner at Aston Villa on Sunday. Chadli thinks his team fellow deserves a call up when England senior side host Slovenia in a Euro 2016 qualifier before a friendly in Scotland in two weeks. He said: “why not? It depends upon him and the manager of the national team. He has quality to have some impact in the game. He works lot of free kicks in the training. He is a young talented player. I am very happy for him that he made an impression.”

But he admitted he had not heard of Spurs academy graduate when he came from Twente last year. “I did not know him when I arrived at Tottenham. But I used to train with him and I think he is a very talented player and he has a great future ahead, “he said. Chadli and Kane scored in the final six minutes on Sunday as Mauricio Pochettino was reluctant to call to start the later. He has played key role for Spurs in cup competitions. Chadli confessed it will be difficult for Pochettino if he do not take Kane for the Europa League tour to Asteras and Saturday’s visit of Stoke.
