Liverpool midfielder Emre Can thinks youngsters of
Liverpool can build their careers and achieve success in the coming
seasons.The Liverpool’s unbeaten run of
13 games was ended with Manchester United loss on Sunday at Anfield which was
first league loss of The Reds since their defeat by United in December.
Sunday’s loss may fade hopes of Liverpool to secure Champions League place but
Can belives his side will only progress if they continue to move on. The
21-year-old said the team has very young players like Coutinho, Henderson and
Markovic but the team should continue to improve by doing what they are doing
now to get good years ahead.
The recent performances of Can have compelled
Brendan Rodgers to call the midfielder a Rolls-Royce of a player which has
added to the confidence of Can according to him. The Germany U21 international
commented on this praise that he feels proud on such compliments by his boss
but he has a long way to achieve something so he has to keep on improving. Can
has disclosed he asked to wear No.23 shirt of Jamie Carragher on his joining in
summer and he knows the challenge of wearing this No. He added he feels proud
to wear this shirt but he is not under pressure although this No. has big
importance.
