Introduction about the Sochi Winter Olympics 2014

The 2014 Winter Olympics officially 22 Winter Olympics games are organized to take place from 6 to 23 Feb 2014, in Sochi, Russia and some matches of this competition organized in the city of Krasnaya Polyana.  This competition consists of 15 winter sport disciplines and 98 events will be organized. 2014 Winter Paralympics and Olympics are being held by the Sochi Organizing Committee (SOC).  Sochi was selected as the host city in the winter Olympics, during the 119th IOC Period organized in Honduras City.


The Sochi Olympics will be the first Olympics in the European Federation since the split of the USSR. 2014 Winter Olympics games will be organized around two groups of new places, an Olympic Park was constructed in the Imeretinsky Area on the coast of the Black Sea with Fisht Olympic Ground and the gaming indoor places located in easy reach and snow activities will be organized at Krasnaya Polyana. These games organizers focused modernizing the telecommunications, power and transport infrastructures of the region.

While initially assigned at US$12 billion money dollars, various factors caused the budget to flourish to over US$51 billion money dollars, exceeding the approximated $44 billion money dollars cost of the 2008 Summer Olympics in China as the most expensive Olympics in history. The lead up to the 2014 Winter Olympics were affected by several major conflicts, including allegations of crime leading to the severe cost overruns, along with concerns from people in politics and sportsmen over the effects of Russia's ban on "propaganda of non-traditional sexual relations" on the Actions.
