Arsene Wenger Insists Everton Win Adds to Remaining Season of Arsenal

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger says rest of the season has gone up for Arsenal with Premier League win against Everton. The Gunners snatched third place from Manchester United again with this victory because of goals of Olivier Giroud and Tomas Rosicky. Wenger had said they were defeated at home by Monaco in the Champions League on Wednesday because his players had not control over their nerves. He said Everton win was important for the remaining season because it was required to remove frustration of Wednesday from their mind.

Arsenal is now four points below the second placed Manchester City because of this win when an important month of their season is starting. Arsenal will play leage games with QPR, West Ham and Newcastle in month of March. They will also travel to Manchester United on 9 March for an FA Cup quarter final. Their second leg of Champions League round of 16 tie against Monaco also lies in this month. The manager added it will be tough because Manchester City is four points ahead them but there are teams who are 1, 2 or 3 points below them so consistency is needed.
