Now recently TV3 confirmed for broadcasting Live all 48 Rugby World Cup matches in later this year. For Rugby World Cup event, TV3 launched TV3 HD in August 2015 and World cup will start in September. TV3 HD will available for Sky and UPC.
A meeting was held in Merrion Hotel in Dublin. In this meeting the core of TV2's Rugby World Cup panel included as names Keith Wood, Matt Williams, Peter Stringer, Shane Jennings, Hugo MacNeill, Murray Kinsella and Neil Back. TV3 have very strong portfolio of premium events including the Rugby Championship, Super Rugby Championship, Super Rugby and the European Rugby Champions Cup. TV3 will start their broadcasting from beginning with the hosts England taking on Fiji on September 18 and till the final at Twickenham on October 31.
