Matt Kvesic is a rugby union player who plays for Gloucester Rugby in Premiership. He plays for England internationally and has represented many youth teams before he made his senior debut in 2013. Basically he is open side flanker but he can also play on the blind side and as number eight. Kvesic first played for England Under-16 in 2008. He debuted for the Under-18s in the next year. He captained the Under-18 side for Grand Slam in the Five Nations tournament with win over Scotland. He was called up in the Under-20 elite squad in 2010.
He could not play the 2012 Junior World Championship because of shoulder injury although he was selected in the England Saxons squad in June the same year. He was called up in the senior squad in January after Tom Johnson injury but did not appear. He was selected for the 2013 trip of Argentina. He got his first senior cap on June 8 in the 32-3 victory against Argentina. He was nominated in the Elite Player Squad after good performance.
